The list of Wednesday Recitals for August came to an end with solo performances by Debarpan Bhowmik and Krittika Karmakar. Debarpan, a Scholar under Shri Deborshee Bhattacharjee and Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, began with a vilambit composition in Raga Bhimpalasi. He concluded the Raga with two ektal and teental-based compositions and finished off with a Kirwani dadra. Debarpan was accompanied by Shri Indranil Bhaduri on the Tabla and Smt. Rupashree Bhattacharya on the Harmonium.
A Scholar under Vidushi Subhra Guha, Krittika Karmakar set the tone of the event with vilambit and drut compositions in Raga Bihag. She concluded with a kajri. Krittika was accompanied by Shri Ashis Paul on the Tabla and Smt. Rupashree Bhattacharya on the Harmonium.
