The recital of 5th August 2026 featured two budding scholars of the Academy, Auroashesh Patra and Laahorii Bandhopadhaya. Auroashesh, a Scholar under Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee began with a vilambit composition in Raga Bhimpalasi. He concluded the raga with a bandish set to madhyalay teental and finished off with a bhajan. Auroashesh was accompanied by Shri Indranil Bhaduri on the Tabla and Shri Jyotirmoy Banerjee on the Harmonium.
The next performer was Laahorii Bandhopadhaya, a Scholar under Shri Omkar Dadarkar. Laahorii began with a tilwada-based vilambit composition in Raga Gaud Malhar. Next, she delivered a madhyalay teental bandish in the raga and concluded with a kajri. Laahorii was accompanied by Smt Rupashree Bhattacharya on the Harmonium and Shri Bivash Sanghai on the Tabla.
