Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee
A Junior Guru of the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee brings together a rare combination of musical acumen and a melodious voice. He is a recipient of the Aditya Vikram Birla Kala Kiran Puraskar for 2021 and the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar from the Sangeet Natak Akademi for the year 2015. He also received the Gaan Vardhan Award from Pune in 2012, the Dhananjay Bhattacharya Award from Calcutta University in 2005 and the Shrutinandan Puraskar from Shrutinandan in 2012.
A disciple of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee has performed extensively in concerts around the world. He has also had the privilege of singing with Dr M Balamurali Krishna.
