Our Scholars Perform

Sumana Gupta

Sumana Gupta was a scholar at the Academy for nearly a decade , between 1999 and 2008, training initially under Vidushi Subhra Guha and subsequently under Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty. Since her graduation, Sumana has been teaching students at home. These are excerpts from her recent recital at SRA's Homecoming Festival in December 2011. Accompanying her on tabla and harmonium were Ashoke Mukherjee and Rupashree Bhattacharya respectively.
