Indrani Mukherjee

Indrani Mukherjee was an ITC SRA scholar between 1996 and 2001, perfecting her art under the guidance of Pt. Arun Bhaduri. She has also trained under the Late Pandit Ramashray Jha of Allahabad and is currently learning Thumris and Bhajans from Bidushi Purnima Choudhury of the Banaras Gharana. These are excerpts from Indrani's very recent recordings for Music 2000. Accompanying her on tabla are Tanmoy Bose and on harmonium, Jyoti Goho.
