Guru Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty was awarded the Master Deenanath Puraskar by the Deenanath Smruti Pratishthan during their Memorial Day celebration in the held on 24th April 2016, in the memory of Late Master Deenanath Mangeshkar. This award was presented to him by legendary musician Padma Vibhushan Smt. Asha Bhonsle.
