Combination of Alankars in recital

Amit Mukerjee sings Mian-ki-Malhar. Notice the andolans on komal n and g, the sudden khatkas and khayal based murkis on the bols, “Karim Naam”. He concludes with some heavy gamaks.

Arun Bhaduri sings Desh with khatkas on the phrase R S and the bol, “Barse”. Short and swift as well as long meends follow. “Badariya” is full of zamzamas while there is a sudden spate of gamaks on “sawan”.

Manilal Nag plays a short alaap and jod in raga Puriya Dhanashri that is replete with practically all alankars applicable to instrumental music
